FLIER, PHOTOSHOP, 2022
I was lucky enough to be able to create and host my first figure drawing course thanks to Larisa Krasner Foigel and Lightkeepers, a company that connects young professionals interested in teaching the youth with schools around Brooklyn, NY. Having worked with Lighkeepers for some time, teaching arts + crafts as well as, yoga and creative writing to both elementary and middle schoolers, I was approached by their director in creating my own course for adults. Larisa was kind enough to lend us her ceramic studio. A close friend of mine, a writer, Kristal Uribe, volunteered as my model for the event. I wanted it to feel close to my work and interests so I chose a niche such as bondage to be the theme. I created the flier myself and posted it through all of our collective socials. The night was incredibly special, surrounded by new faces and close friends. A special thank you to everyone who supported me including those who attended and/or circulated the flier and got the word out. This was definitely a big accomplishment for me in 2022.
